Tourism Sector in Thousand Islands Should Implement Health Protocols

Tourism sector in Thousand Islands which includes marine tourism, homestay, resort, restaurant, has reopened since the re-enactment of Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) on Monday (10/12), while implementing health protocols.

Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti stated, the reopening of tourism sector in Thousand Islands is in line with Jakarta Governor's Decree No. 1020/2020 concerning PSBB Enforcement During Transitional Period Towards a Healthy, Safe, and Productive Society.

"It is important to implement and comply with health protocols. We want to improve Thousand Islands' economy, especially from tourism sector, and protect local residents and tourists from being exposed to COVID-19," he mentioned, Tuesday (10/13).
